EXCLUSIVE: 'I have a harami sense of humour' - Sooraj Pancholi

Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty are newest ‘it’ couple of the tinsel town! The debutantes are prepping up for their big screen debut with Nikhil Advani’s 'Hero’ which is being produced by Salman Khan.

While the duo has displayed some candid camaraderie with each other, one wonders who broke the ice between them when they first met.

Ask Athiya about it and she reveals, “Sooraj is extremely shy. I was obviously the one who broke the ice. But one thing with Sooraj is that, once you break that ice, he is the funniest person you will ever meet. If you see me with him, I will always be on the floor laughing. His humour is just retarded. He is the type of person who makes you laugh so much. He is a funny brat. Everyone thinks he is bhola but he is not.”

Confront Sooraj with the revelation that Athiya has made and the newbie agrees to her. He smilingly adds, “Athiya and I knew each other from the start because we had few common friends. But we both were too shy to say hi to each other initially. We both broke the ice when we entered the same dance class together. That is when we decided that since we both are doing a film together let’s not be awkward. Since then we have been hanging out together.”

And what about the sense of humour bit?

“Once you know me, you won’t stop laughing. I have lot of non veg jokes to crack. I have a very harami sense of humour. I have inherited it from my dad (Aditya Pancholi). But he has brilliant sense of humour and mine is very different. Mine is little more harami.”

We quite like this confession!
