Assange hits out at Australia but concedes no US indictment

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Friday hit out at Australia and Sweden but conceded there was no current US indictment against him in his first comments since seeking asylum at Ecuador's embassy in London.

"Until it comes out of the grand jury there will not be such evidence afforded," he told ABC radio of a US indictment, while lashing the "slimy rhetoric" of his home nation Australia.
