of course! you dont need to make a grand and expensive gesture for your loved ones! and you most certainly do no need 1 day of the year to dedicate for him/her. Daily small gestures for 365 days is more romantic and strengthens your relationship.

As is been said..........MONEY TALKS!! And the commercial establishments leave no effort to squeeze out as much as they can. Indeed, they do bank on the fact - love is blind.

For the ones among us who do not believe in squandering a huge sum on Valentine's, my personal favorite frugal (read practical) option - The weather and e-commerce sites allow for a Dhow Dinner Cruise, Total AED 140 / Couple.

Alternatively, rent out a remontic flick - SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE / SERENDIPITY / YOU'VE GOT MAIL / KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI. Order a Pizza and some Chocolate Ice cream, Total AED 80-100/Couple.

Yet another alternative is cooking for your dear one. Nothing like a long and inexpensive candle light dinner at home or on the patio.

Wish all of you a Happy Valentine's day.........Have fun!!
