Did Varun Dhawan really attempt suicide?

As we have witnessed the fun-loving and happy-go-lucky side of Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, news doing the rounds that he was once going to commit suicide by slashing his wrist on being rejected by his rumoured girlfriend Natasha Dalal, came as a shock. Varun, after coming across such reports, took to a micro-blogging site to clarify his stand.
He wrote, "There is an absurd article about me online saying I tried to commit sucide for a girl which is rubbish never did I and never will I"
"Please don't read these fabricated articles if I have to say something il say it straight," he added.
Varun Dhawan will be seen in ABCD 2, which is directed by Remo D'Souza and also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Dheva and others. The movie is slated to release on June 19, 2015.
