Celebrity Big Brother 2015: UK vs USA Theme CONFIRMED

In today’s episode of secrets being about as well kept as our Year 6 cactus, it’s been CONFIRMED that this year’s Celebrity Big Brother will have a UK vs USA theme.

Yep, hold onto your TV snacks and be prepared for even more fireworks than the Perez Hilton Show of January, because Channel 5 have confirmed that Brits and Americans will be going head-to-head in the house.

Are we ready for this? We’re not sure we’re ready for this.

The channel have promised “all the excitement of a big sporting event,” with the house getting a Britain and American-themed makeover.

We hope the celebs are big fans of the colours red, white and blue.

They’re also promising “an epic trial of tasks, challenges and twists,” with a tonne of surprises along the way. Obviously.

Emma Willis will be back to present the show, which starts next month, while Rylan Clark will be back in the CBB Bit On The Side hosting seat. HURRAH.

While the full line-up is yet to be released (hurry up, please), the list of rumoured contestants is as long as our Christmas wish list.

Americans Janice Dickinson, Lindsay Lohan’s mum Dina, Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham, Kathy Griffin and Hulk Hogan have all had their names chucked into the ring, for example.

Meanwhile, Paul Danan, Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton, X Factor couple Stevi Ritchie and Chloe Jasmine, TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and The Apprentice’s James Hill are all reported to be taking part.

Dan Osborne has reportedly already signed on the dotted line, while Loose Women’s Sherri Hewson is set to be the next panellist to venture to Borehamwood for her summer vacation.

A source told The Sun: “The Loose Women ladies always do really well on Celebrity Big Brother and they’re hoping that Sherrie is no exception.

“Loose Women aren’t afraid to be controversial and stand up for themselves, which always makes for good telly. Although Nadia didn’t have as much success as the other two panellists, her feuds with Katie brought in massive audiences.

“Sherrie has been on screens for years and is a TV favourite so she’ll attract both Corrie and Loose Women fans.”

Whoever DOES end up in this year’s house, it sounds like it’s set to be one heck of a series.
