It’s thought that, being in the process of selling their New Orleans mansion, the couple are spreading their wings and looking to invest in a property across the pond.

A source has told Us Weekly: “They’re house hunting in London. Angie wants to slowly immerse herself in E.U. politics.”

Despite looking round a seven-bedroom mansion located in the heart of London - Westminster - in June, the 51-year-old actor and his 40-year-old actress and humanitarian wife have yet to make the investment.

Probably because forking out a whopping $39 million for a new home requires more than the five minutes worth of thought we give to our £2 morning coffee.

The source added: “It’s a huge investment. Neither of them wants to throw down that amount of cash.”

If it helps persuade you, guys, we’ll be just down the road ready and waiting with a plate of mini muffins, a bowl of Sainsbury’s Basics tortilla chips and an unhealthy amount of guacamole.

OH, and cheese and pineapple on a stick. What else could you want to welcome you to London, eh?

Brangelina reportedly started their search last year, and have also looked at a home in Marylebone, close to the Chiltern Firehouse - a well-known celeb hangout.

They’re no strangers to the capital city though, travelling over in late June to have tea with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, where they allegedly “discussed their shared interest in combatting the illegal wildlife trade.”

Ange also attended a lunch to continue her work on UK foreign police and her campaign to end sexual violence in war crimes.

Sadly though, the two aren’t in any hurry to move over here, with director Ange not interested in making “a sudden career change,” according to the Us Weekly source.

They added: “She doesn’t want to lose her directing momentum.”

The gorgeous couple are selling their New Orleans mansion for a mere $6.5 million according to TMZ, which is almost double the cost of what they paid for it in 2006 ($3.5 million).

Brad’s rep told the site: “They remain committed to, and infatuated as ever with the city of New Orleans and will continue to focus on growth in the lower 9th through the Make It Right Foundation.”

The actor founded the foundation in 2007 to create new homes and neighbourhoods for people in need.

See you in London, Brangelina!
