New Delhi, Aug 6 (IANS) Three volunteers from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, painting themselves in gold, silver and bronze symbolising Olympic medals, will take out a demonstration Tuesday on "Be a Champion for Animals - Go Vegan" at central Delhi's business hub, Connaught Place.
Coinciding with the last week of Olympics in London, the PETA India volunteers will seek to remind Delhi residents that the best thing they can do for animals, the environment and their own health is to go vegan (abstaining from the use of animal products), a press statement said Monday.
"You don't have to be an Olympian to feel like a gold medallist. You can be a champion simply by dropping meat, eggs and dairy products from your diet", the statement said.
