Kate Middleton steps out in best dress since Royal Wedding

Kate Middleton has wowed us with just about every sartorial choice she's made - but this new dress has surpassed all of our expectations.

Kate Middleton stepped out last night in what we think is her best dress since the Royal Wedding itself, when the Duchess of Cambridge wowed in her McQueen creation.

Last night Kate Middleton donned a stunning teal dress from the new Jenny Packham collection.

The floor-length dress featured a V-neckline, capped lace sleeves and an embellished waist belt.

However, the best feature of Kate's dress was undoubtedly the back detailing. The dress featured a large lace panel with delicate buttons running down the middle.

The delicate button detailing actually reminded us of Kate's wedding dress which featured a similar design.

Kate Middleton teamed the stunning dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes, which she also wore to an event earlier this week.

The Duchess of Cambridge carried a matching teal clutch and wore her hair in a sophisticated chignon - a move away from her usual style.

Kate Middleton was out with Prince William at the London Olympic Gala concert.

If this is the ensemble Kate has chosen for the pre-party, we wonder what incredible creation she'll wear for the big event itself this summer.
