Bollywood star Salman Khan, who was in the UAE for a National Day performance, claimed he had never heard of the Mission Impossible superstar actor Tom Cruise, local daily 7Days reported on Monday.
When asked whether his daredevil Dabangg character Chulbul Pandey would perform a stunt on the top of Burj Khalifa as Cruise did in Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol, the actor replied: “Tom Kaun? (Tom Who?), I don't know who this man is,” the report said.
Fellow performers Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Chaudhary tried to refresh Khan's memory by describing the popular feat that saw the Hollywood star swing from Burj Khalifa.
However, Khan simply said: "I still don’t know who this man is."
He was, however, more clear about his feelings about Dubai.
“If I wasn’t living in Mumbai, this is where I’d live,” he was quoted as saying.
