Three people were killed in a deadly car crash in Dubai on Monday, one of the worst days of traffic in the UAE.
The two Pakistani men and one Bangladeshi died when their parked car was hit by a speeding vehicle near the Al Warqaa interchange on Dubai's Emirates Road, The National reported.
The accident was one of 630 accidents in the emirates on Monday - 330 in Dubai and 300 in Abu Dhabi - the report said.
Rain throughout the day caused traffic snarls on major roads, officials said.
In Dubai, morning crashes on Al Khaleej Road towards Al Shandigha and Sheikh Zayed Road caused large tailbacks.
"We urge motorists to be careful when driving in changing weather conditions," Brigadier Omar Al Shamsi, director of the Dubai Police command and control room, told The National.
In Abu Dhabi, minor accidents were reported in the main city and the Al Rahba and Al Shahama regions, police said.
