GENEVA, May 21 (Reuters) - The World Bank plans to announce
significant new funding to help Jordan cope with the Syrian
refugee crisis, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim told Reuters
on Tuesday.
Kim was speaking on the eve of a visit to the Great Lakes
region, together with U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, during
which he said he would announce new funding for countries
involved in February's U.N.-brokered peace deal there.
