RIYADH: National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) chief Mohammed Al-Sharif commended the Health Ministry on Wednesday, saying it had chalked out a specific transparent plan to achieve its goals to provide maximum health care to the people.

Al-Sharif made these observations during his meeting with Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah at the ministry’s headquarters here.

Stressing the importance of transparency and efforts by officials in the government sector, Al-Sharif said his commission is keen on facilitating all departments to provide satisfactory services to the members of the community.

Referring to the Health Ministry, the chairman said it had taken all precautionary measures to ensure its financial dealings are in order according to public sector finance regulations. He also took the opportunity to tell health officials how the present system of accounting and financial transactions, income and expenditure, could be further improved in hospitals, primary health care centers (PHCs) and in regional health directorates.
