Abu Dhabi holds meet on organised crime

Abu Dhabi, June 18 (IANS/WAM) A conference on organised crime and its effects commenced here Monday.

The "Conference on Organised Crime and its Effects on Criminal Policy" has been organised by the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC) at the InterContinental Hotel.

Minister for Justice Hadef Bin Juan Al-Dhaheri, said: "Security is a high-priority demand all countries seek to meet as they currently facing global threats and tensions."

Many judicial officials, experts, lawyers and police officers are participating in the conference.
