She had applied a medium layer of thin liquid foundation, and a layer of sheer coloured powder for a matte finish. Deepika Padukone, who played a South Indian girl in Chennai Express, looked very pretty in her simple Kanjeevaram silk saree and a light makeup. Her makeup consisted of a thin layer of foundation, tinted moisturiser along with concealer under her eyes, and a ginger bronze blush on her cheekbones that gave her skin a matte look.
